The College of the Atlantic in Bar Harbor is hosting Gary E. Michlas co-author of The Future of Conservation in America: A Chart for Rough Water. It is Open to the public and begins at 7PM on Thursday, October 18th in the Gates Auditorium and we're excited to provide the books for signing! So please come for a timely and important discussion about conservation.

Gary E. Machlis is a university professor of environmental sustainability at Clemson University and former science advisor to the director of the National Park Service. He is coeditor of Science, Conservation, and National Parks, also published by the University of Chicago Press
